Introduction :
Rap started to become popular when Will Smith hit the scene, around 1984. Into the 90's, a new style called gangsta rap was started by Ice Cube & Easy-E (NWA), and Ice T. Rap then became a contender for most popular music of today with the self-made millionares 2Pac, Notorious BIG, and Bone Thugz n' Harmony. With tight beats and seriously inspiring lerics, the 3 bigest names took over the music scene. The 1 thing common between all three was there hartred for Cops getting involved with them. It is most evident in the song by Bone, entitled (of course) F--- Tha Police. There has been no recent song with both 2Pac and Biggie in it, but the 2 have both had a song with Bone. Both 2Pac and Biggie have been influenced by Bone's musical talent and Thuggish Ruggish style. 2pac and Biggie had a east coast/west coast verbal quarrel that has been specualted as to the cause of there deaths.

Born in Brookland, New York in 1971. He lived poor for most of his life, the younger years in which he went from Harlem, to Baltimore, to Texas, and eventually ending in Los Angeles, CA. He is the most reconizable rapper ever, and has made about 10 CD's up to now, 3 of them doubles. In between his self-millionare making albums, he stared in a few movies. He starred in such movies as Juice, Gridlock'd, Above The Rim, Gang Related, Bullet, and (I think 1 more...). In many of his songs he fortold his own death, knowing that he would die. And so he did. He was gunned multiple times while in his car, in 1996. New CD's of his unrealesed songs are still coming. Also, a tribute CD for 2Pac is rumored to be in the works.

Born Christopher Wallace in 1972, in Brookland, NY. Grew up as a self-proclamed 100% hustler, Notorious BIG didn't take rap seriously until a tape of him rapping got into the hands of a record label. He was helped by Sean Puffy Combs to get his stuff tight, and onto an album, and then they went together to Puff Daddy's Bad Boy record label, making his Life After Death double CD. As it has been mostly speclated as retaliation to the murder of Tupac Shakur, Biggie was shot and killed in 1997.

Living in the Streets of Cleveland poor and broke, Bone develeped their thuggish ruggish along with harmony style of music. They reflect on their once dependency on hustling the streets to make money, and the runs in with cops and haters. They started singing as the "". They were determined to make their music with a company, and went to Compton with all the money they had to join up with Eazy-E. They went back to Cleveland when they heard Eazy-E was having a concert there. They had an interview backstage, and Eazy signed them up on the spot. After three major CD's, Faces of Death, Creepin on a Come Up, and East 1999 Eternal, they came back to Cleveland to form Mo Thugs Records. They signed up different talents, fufilling their promise to help others with their musical dreams. They have made 2 CD's of the Mo' Thugs Family. They made The Art of War double CD in between the two Mo Thugs discs, and are currently making their almost sphycically predictided Armageddon title of 1999. Bizzy Bone has produced his own solo CD, entitled Heaven's Movie. Krazie and Wish are currently working on their own solo CD"s.
